Mountain Movers Chapel International (MMCI) is a Bible-believing prophetic ministry founded by Bishop Elisha K. Boateng. The church is a non-denominational, multicultural, and multi-generational ministry that welcomes people from all walks of life who desire to grow in faith and fulfill their God-given purpose.
The ministry began with the establishment of its first branch in Wenchi, Ghana, in 2001. Within a year, the church expanded rapidly, planting five additional branches in Kumasi, Ghana. As the Holy Spirit led the ministry into international missions, MMCI extended its reach beyond Ghana, establishing a branch in Ivory Coast in 2004 and later expanding into Europe with a branch in Würzburg, Germany in 2005.
In 2008, while preparing to return to Ghana, Bishop Elisha received a divine instruction to relocate to the United Kingdom and establish a church. This revelation was also confirmed by his wife, Prophetess Florence Boateng, during prayer and through other ministers of God. Consequently, the London branch was established and currently serves as the global headquarters of MMCI.
Inspired by Isaiah 60:22, which declares that “the smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I the Lord, will make it happen”, the ministry began with a small fellowship of five people in Bermondsey, London, in May 2009.
Today, the UK church based in Thamesmead, South London continues to grow, with a strong mandate to build, equip, and empower believers to fulfill their divine assignments. MMCI has since expanded further, with additional branches established in South Africa and the United States, continuing its global mission of transforming lives through the Word of God and prophetic ministry.
To become a globally recognized prophetic ministry that transforms lives and communities through the power of Christ, fostering spiritual growth, healing, and empowerment.
Mountain movers is a very powerful church and good place to fellowship.
