The Nahinso branch of Mountain Movers Chapel International (MMCI) – City of Grace was originally established at Sawia Junction, popularly known as Ramseyer, in the residence of Bishop Elisha Kwabena Boateng. As the church grew, it became necessary to relocate the congregation from the Bishop’s residence to a permanent location. The church was therefore moved to Nahinso, off Sawia Road near Kotai Junction.
During the relocation, the then pastor, Rev. Sylvien Aquah, left the ministry and took several members with him to establish his own church. Despite this setback, the remaining members continued the work. Rev. Etonam was later invited from Accra to lead the branch but returned home due to family challenges.
The church was subsequently entrusted to elders for leadership. Following further challenges, the leadership appointed Rev. Evans Brenyah and elevated Deacon Desmond Ayizie, now Prophet Desmond Ayizie, to pastoral ministry. Today, both pastors jointly oversee and lead the Nahinso branch.
Mountain movers is a very powerful church and good place to fellowship.
